Pansy Petals Fun Fold

 Hello!

What better way to spend a rainy day than to craft. Today's card is a fun fold, doubly so.

I love the colours in this card. Next to Pear Pizzazz, Soft Succulent is my favourite green. This card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

To make this card start with a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  At the top left corner of the card make a tick mark about 1/2" in. Cut from that tick mark to the bottom right corner of the front of the card. There's the front.

Take another piece of cardstock measuring 8" x 5 1/4" and score at 4".With the fold on the right side adhere that inner piece to the base card. It should look like the above photo. Cut a piece of white cardstock measuring 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to the inside of the card for your personal message.

For the DSP: Front: cut a piece of DSP measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Again, make a tick mark 1/2" from the top left corner of the paper. Cut down from that tick mark to the bottom right corner.

Inside Fold: Cut a piece of coordinating DSP measuring 3 3/4" x 5"/ Adhere to the front of the inside fold.

Choose your sentiment for the front and coordinate with whatever die you choose. Adhere to the front of the card. Add embellishment is desired.

And you're done!

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time....

Pierced Blooms Angle Card

 Hello,

I've been seeing a lot of posts using the Pierced Blooms dies. I thought I'd dust them off and have a go.

I love the colour combination of Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral.

Here are the instructions for cutting the front of the card.

Until next time....

Easter Treat

 Hello,

I can never give out treats without putting them in 'something' and Easter is no exception. These milk cartons fit a small Lindt bunny and a few chocolate eggs perfectly. I found this project on Sam Pootles You Tube video.

I used the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper for this project. Perfect for Easter and Spring. But, any DSP would work.

Here is what is needed:
A piece of DSP measuring 11 ½ " x 8 ¼". With the 11 ½ " side at the top of your score board or paper trimmer, score at 2 ¾, 5 ½, 8 ¼ , 11. Turn the paper so the 8 ¼ side is at the top of your score board or paper trimmer and score at 2 ¾, 5 ½, 7 ½.
Fold and burnish all folds.
For assembly it is best to watch Sam's You Tube video here. It's very easy.
Sam can describe  how to put the milk carton together much better than I can๐Ÿ˜Š.

I hope you try this milk carton project. They are great for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time.....

Handed Penned

 Hello,

I love, love, love the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. The colours are so delicate.

With Stampin' UP the colour coordination is easy. No guess work.

This reverse easel card was so easy to make.

The hardest part is choosing the colours.
I've included a space behind the card front to write a personal message.

The card measures 5 /12 " x 4 1/4" so it fits in a regular A2 envelope.

Here are the measurements for the card. Thank you to Beth Arnold at Crafting with Beth for the template and the inspiration!

(This chart is not made by me.)

Until next time....

Nature's Harvest

 Hello,

I've been delinquent in my posting lately. Life sometimes just gets in the way of crafting.

I am trying to use up my stash of DSP to make room for new DSP from the upcoming Annual Catalogue. There are so many beautiful papers and I cannot resist them.

I made today's card from the Harvest Meadow DSP. One of my favourite SU colours is Misty Moonlight (soon to retire ๐Ÿ˜ญ).  I cut out some Nature's Harvest dies from cards stock and the Vellum Layering Designs. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Bring on the Cake. I love the pretty font.

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time....
