Dainty Flowers Tented Easel Card

 Hello,

Back to making cards after some eye surgery. I'm telling you, I am  never taking my eye sight for granted again.

Today's card is called a tented easel card. A cute fun fold that measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". Because of the size of the card, I made a matching envelope with the envelope punch board. The idea for the card came from Lisa Curcio at Lisa's Stamp Studio

Start with a piece of card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2". That's it! The rest is decorating with your favourite DSP. Cut your DSP to 4" x 4" for the front and inside (white card stock for the sentiment). Next, cut a piece of DSP measuring 2 1/4" x 4". Adhere the DSP as in the photo below.

For the "stopper" a fussy cut flower on dimensionals was added to the lower part of the card.

Lots of room for a personal note inside.

I hope you give this fun fold a try. It's very easy to make.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time...

Designer Series Paper

 Hello,

Stampin' Up makes beautiful designer series paper, so why not let that paper do the work for you. When you're stuck for ideas, lost your mojo or don't know where to start, pick up a sheet of DSP then coordinate your card stock with it.

For today's card I used the Lovely In Linen DSP for the focal point of the card. I chose Night of Navy, Sweet Sorbet and Pale Papaya to coordinate with the DSP.

These cards would be great in a gift set with a matching box.

Don't stash your DSP away....use it... as a focal point on a card...envelope liners...envelope flaps.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.

Tulips

 Hello,

Nothing says Spring like tulips. Flowering Fields DSP has some of the prettiest designs and colours.

This card is an easy easel fold.

The card measures 5 1/" x 4 1/4" and folds flat into a regular envelope.

Recipe:

Card stock base: 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" (valley fold) and 2 3/4 " (mountain fold)

Top layer: 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"

DSP for top layer: 3 3/8" x 4 1/8"

DSP for inside: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

White card stock for inside: 3" x 4"

The top layer is only adhered to the mountain fold portion of the front of the card.

Until next time...

Plentiful Plants Fun Fold

 Hello,

I love fun folds. They add such interest to a card. This double box fun fold lies flat for mailing. The idea for this card came from Flutterby Heidi.

The card can be made with a regular card, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" or just a single piece of card stock measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". If using a single piece of card stock, adhere a  5 1/4"x 4" piece of white card stock on the back for a personal message.

Measurements:
For the horizontal "box": card stock measuring 3 3/4" x 6" scored at 1/2", 1 3/4", 3 1/4" and 4 1/2"
For the vertical "box": card stock measuring 1 3/4" x 5 1/2", scored at 2 7/8" and 4 1/8"

Check out Flutterby Heidi for assembly instructions and more interesting fun folds.

Until next time.....

Heart and Home

 Hello,

There is a new bundle coming out in the January-June 2021-2022 mini Catalogue. It's called Heart and Home. I used the bundle along with the DSP for today's card. Thank you to Wendy Cranford at https://www.luvinstampin.com/blog  for the inspiration. I modified the card a bit, adhering the twisty portion to a regular card base so the card would stand up. This makes the card a bit bulkier so mind the postage.

Check out Wendy's blog for the tutorial.

Until next time....

Harvest Meadow

I have been waiting for these backordered dies. They just arrived yesterday!

                                                                                  ðŸ‘‡

For this card I used one of my favourite greens, Soft Succulent which coordinates with the Harvest Meadow DSP.

I think I am going to get a lot of use out of this set.

Until next time....
